Land Rover Scrapbook Difflock Magazine Review
Difflock Magazine, issue 1, February 2008
"It would not be too over the top to suggest that this is, quite simply, the best historical Land Rover book ever published, it is also possibly the largest at 14"x12". Mike Gould has used his knowledge of Land Rover to supurb effect and the book is packed full of previously unseen or very rare images, brochures and marketing material. Even if you only have a pssing interest in Land Rovers you should have this book. Unlike a lot of other books on the subject it is not a rivet-counter's wet dream, it does not send you to sleep with facts and figures and it refrains from describing in text-book detail how to tell the difference between a series II and a IIa just by looking at the wheelnuts. This vibrant book that both pays suitable homage to a world wide icon and truly celebrates its full 60 year history. If only more books were like this!
