Stirling Moss Scrapbook

"... these are scrapbooks, not conventional biographies, and they're filled with snapshots, professional photos and pressclippings from family collections.  There also are personal insights and anecdotes on nearly every page supplied by family, friends, fellow racers and title characters themselves.

One such entry, from Moss's sister, Pat, a rally driver herself, speaks of Sir Stirling's entry into racing.  It seems that their father , a dentist who had done some racing himself, wanted young Stirling to follow him into dentistry.  "But dad said, 'Okay, one year (of racing) and then you can come back and learn to be a dentist'," Pat Moss related.  "And the rest is history.  Stirling was a winner from the very start.  Very much so. "
