To compliment the already available 1955 version, Porter Press International has released another time warp with the Stirling Moss Scrapbook 1961. Fast cars and fast women were the pick of the day for Sir Stirling Moss during his glory years and this amazing book not only offers a deep insight into his 1961 racing season but also the variety of crumpet Stirling met, from Shirlee Adams, the American Airlines stewardess to actress, Judy Carne. He was never short of female company and in between races he was juggling five serious relationships!

The 160 pages are easy to digest thanks to the scrapbook format and most spreads contain press cuttings, race programmes plus anecdotes from Stirling and his friends. But even more interesting are his diary entries from races such as the German and more famous Monaco Grand Prix, where keen racer and mother Aileen was arrested for dashing in front of the crowd to congratulate her son! Following this racing great across the 12 months creates an illusion that the season is taking place now, not in 1961. Said to be one of the most important years of his life, this book isn't to be missed, a refreshing change from the norm.
